The tour bus and THE GUIDE FROM NINH KIEU TRAVEL, pick you up at the hotel’s lobby. The tour departs for Soc Trang. You shall stop at Soc Trang to visit: Ma Toc Pagoda (The bat pogoda) – habitat to hundreds of thousands of natural bats, listen to the fairy tale of the five-hoof pigs.
Next, the tour shall visit Chen Kieu Pagoda (China Cup pagoda) – a pagoda with its unique architecture featuring, tiled with fragments of china cups and plates to create vivid, lively paintings. After that, the tour shall visit Đat Set pagoda (Clay pagoda), whose other name is Buu Son Tu – a pagoda very well-known in the Mekong delta for its collection of more than 1.000 Buddha statues and sacred animal made of clay, as well as the gigantic candles that won’t ever burn out even after 100 years. The tour stop for lunch.
Next, we shall vist Nuoc Ngot Lake (Freshwater Lake) and visit the ‘Banh pia’ factory of Soc Trang – a famous local treat of Soc Trang. Then the tour return to Can Tho, arrive at Can Tho and the tour ends. Good bye and see you next time!
